I'm not advocating this, just sayin

It's just after 8:30am, my children have already been up 1hr and full of energy from the moment their eyes opened. I however, the distracted self employed lady that I am, was up until 4am (working, surfing the net, preparing food, ordering shopping online, washing my hair, all relatively important, but clearly shouldn't have kept me up that late)

I remember times when I'm not on track with my foods and exercise, I'd be crying and screaming at them now, through no fault of their own, just because I'm tired, ratty and my energy is out of whack.

But this morning I'm cool, even though I'd like a lie in, It's not because I'm particularly tired.

This new program I'm on is having a good effect on me in general, I can't wait to tell you more about it.

Now, please take note

I AM NOT ADVOCATING IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM THAT YOU SHOULD STAY UP ALL NIGHT AND GET 3 1/2hrs SLEEP

...especially when you have children, a business and a house to look after.

I just think the changes you notice in yourself when you start improving your diet and lifestyle, no matter where you start from, is noteworthy.

It's good to know that if I really needed to stay up late or wake up earlier (though proper planning and can largely avoid this) I won't suffer too greatly for it, but only if:

*I get back into a good sleep routine the next night
*Keep well hydrated
*Avoid foods that could drain my energy
*Grab a nap if I do get tired in the day

I'm planning on hitting sack by at least 11pm, which is 3 hours earlier than normal, one of my goals for this month is to get my .bed times closer to sun set so we'll see how that goes

Well off to homeschooling and housekeeping, it's hair today too, I'll be braiding mine and washing and braiding the 3 princesses

Have a lovely day in the summer sun

Take care and stay healthy

Leah
